Gifts – The Reason

The Cliffs is different.  Ours is the business of care, not caring about business. 

As an independent, non-profit, organization we remain focused on our mission... the care of those who make this place their home.  Our Board and staff are responsible to the individual, their families and to God.  None will be concerned about, or distracted by stock prices or dividends. 

While The Board of Directors trusts that “the Lord will provide”, we must acknowledge it was never His intent that we sit back and lazily wait for His magnitude.  The Cliffs must be pro-active in finding the resources that allow us to operate as a shining example of Christian care.

In this Medicare/insurance environment income from rents, both private pay and government supported, just about covers routine operating costs.  But without squeezing quality, there is nothing leftover for the improvement and continuing growth of the programs and staff.  Those essentials must be funded from other sources.

Thankfully The Cliffs has been blessed by the generous support from our supporting churches, as wells as the families and friends of residents.  To accommodate these gifts we have established several ways funds may be dedicated.
