The Angel Fund

 

Gifts given to the Angel Fund are truly personal.  The Cliffs and The Haven employ these monies to help individual residents meet their obligations and maintain their home with us.   Our“good Samaritan” efforts started years ago (before Medicare/Medicaid) when this home found space for pastors and others whose means no longer supported them as residents.

In today’s world we find that need still exists. 

There are good souls who begin living here, but whose financial resources diminish sufficiently to qualify for government support.  (Medicare mandates that The Cliffs hold a percentage of our apartments available for residents of limited means.) 

When there are no rooms available for these faithful residents, The Cliffs tries to assist them to remain part of the community until either the economics of their situation improve or an available Medicare room becomes available.

Donations made to this fund are held in reserve to meet the "scholarship" needs of these individuals.
