Tea Time
T'was high tea at The Cliffs. The ladies gathered in the Country Kitchen, each wearing her own homemade chapeau!

A New Meaning for Assisted Living
In late November residents at The Cliffs responded to an appeal from a young American soldier serving overseas. Offered the chance to "adopt" Kraig Kline the residents quickly responded, only to find he was looking for another kind of love.
Khowst Province is 150 kilometers Southeast of Kabul. Kline and his company are stationed in the Turioba Village in the Tere Zayi District in this mountainous region of East Central Afghanistan. They live among the people of the village, close to the Pakistan border. It is a desolate, poor land.
Seeing the poverty and needs of the people Kraig and his buddies asked friends to send clothes and food for the children of the area.
Residents and staff members at The Cliffs responded with about 50 pounds of goods including hats, gloves jackets and foods.
In his note of thanks to Adele, Madeline and Wanda, the leaders of this effort, he enclosed 2 photos. First you can see Kraig distributing these goods to the village elders… and second no Santa ever got a greater smile from the children.
